Single Malt Murray McDavid (MMD) Highland Park 1992 15 Year Old Whisky Bourbon / Voignier (Yves Cuilleron) Cask Liquor Whisky

Originally aged in bourbon casks, the Highland Park 1992 15yo expression was second aged in a Voignier (Yves Cuilleron) cask that has created an explosion of flavours on the taste buds!

Seldom can anyone find a Highlands Whisky with such flavours and emotions in a dram.

Buttered toasts and malt initially invade the palette followed by lychees and vanilla that lingers on due to the non-chilled filtration process that allows the original oils to provide a longer lasting finish.

Bottled in 2008 at 46%, this beautiful expression is considered by many as an almost perfect dram due to its extraordinary balance and complexity.

Number of bottles are 2,475 and I can safely assume that these are the last few bottles left.

This is a non-existent Limited-Edition Expression bottled many years ago. Hence, a certain amount of the liquid may have given itself up as the "Angels Share," and the cork for such old expressions has the propensity to break which is very normal due to this phenomenon. Thus, the drinker must practice due diligence when opening this liquid gold bottle.

Take note that these expressions are sold in "as is" condition due to their age.
