The Arran 1996 11yo Sherry Cask is a delight on the tongue. The initial rush of rich vanilla sweetness gives way to the fruits of slow distillation – kiwi, banana, cantaloupe melon – with just a dusting of cocoa powder. Figs, stewed apples, vanilla fudge, orange apricot and nutmeg soon attack the palette.

It is undoubtedly complex and yet the aromas are in complete harmony with the malt. It drifts over the tongue like golden syrup and fades ever slowly to tempt another sip.

Bottled at 46% thus non-chilled filtered makes the unadulterated taste linger even longer. So, do go on and enjoy another sip of this world class dram!

Only 2,100 bottles of this limited edition were bottled, hence a rare gem for the connoisseur to enjoy before all are consumed and would only become a memory.

This is a non-existent Limited-Edition Expression bottled many years ago. Hence, a certain amount of the liquid may have given itself up as the "Angels Share," and the cork for such old expressions has the propensity to break which is very normal due to this phenomenon. Thus, the drinker must practice due diligence when opening this liquid gold bottle.
