Single Malt Bruichladdich Whiskey 17 Year Old Rum Cask Liquor Whisky

This is the first ever rum finished 'Laddie’. Matured for 15 years in bourbon barrels before an additional 2 years were spent in rum casks used to mature the famous Bruichladdich Renegade Rums.

The rums came from the Uitvlugt and Enmore distilleries in Guyana which were used to produce the exceptional El Dorado range of rums.

An exceptional and beautifully balance between the sweetness from the oak casks that previously held rum that provides a rush of oak and caramel respectively. A tinge of pepper and dried muesli follows when the expression opens on the palette thus reinforcing a continual flow of flavours that refuse to fade away due to its non-chill filtration. This was the expression that made other distilleries seriously look at rum casks for flavour enhancement.   

This is a non-existent Limited-Edition Expression bottled many years ago.

Hence, a certain amount of the liquid may have given itself up as the "Angels Share," and the cork for such old expressions has the propensity to break which is very normal due to this phenomenon. Thus, the drinker must practice due diligence when opening this liquid gold bottle.

Take note that these expressions are sold in "as is" condition due to their age. Hence first come, first serve applies.
