In 1875, J. Bulova Company was established in the USA by Bohemian immigrant, Joseph Bulova. It was re-incorporated in 1923 as Bulova Watch Company. It was sold to Loews Corporation in 1929 who then sold it to Citizen in 2007.

Here we have a beautiful, extremely rare and Limited Edition 2015 Bulova Acutron II Model 96A155 Ref: BA101.10 Sweeping Hands.

This timepiece was given an overhaul, and its dial was meticulously cleaned, its electronic movement cleaned and touched up, demagnetised, and its battery replaced in May 2024. It should be able to operate unhindered until the next battery change thereby providing the owner peace of mind.

The unique shaped silver case has also undergone a good clean and buffed. The mineral crystal is original and also underwent a good cleaning and buff, and is now in near mint condition.

The crown is located at the 3H position and hidden yet easily accessible.

The case width and height are approximately 42mm (w/o crown) and 49.2mm respectively. The lug width is 21mm and the strap can accommodate wrists up to 20cm, thereby making this timepiece suitable for both man and woman.

Due to its age, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested.

The watch comes with a hi-quality ala Diver Style Silicon Strap with silver buckle. An additional Black NATO Strap with silver buckle is also provided as part of the deal.

To the best of our knowledge and expertise when overhauling the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Bulova components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket or modified parts.

The pictures provided shows the watch in pristine condition (no dents and major scratches), and the movement within squeaky clean and well maintained. It has also been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear + tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. A brand new EVA pouch is provided instead.
