Single Malt Arran Whiskey The Devil’s Punchbowl 2 – “Angels and Devils” Liquor Whisky

This long awaited second edition is based around stunning 1997 & 1998 Sherry Hogshead Barrels and includes our oldest Peated Arran Barrels from 2004.

The nose is vibrant with the hallmark notes of classic dried fruits, light spice and cigar box cedar wood as the sherry comes to the fore and sets the tone for this complex dram. Notes of dark chocolate with a layer of delicate butterscotch spice mingle to create a rich initial burst of character. With a dash of water, the lighter shade of bourbon barrel emerges with strong citrus and vanilla notes dancing on the tongue.

Only 6,600 bottles were made and bottled at cask strength of 53.1% (naturally)! A true dram worth waiting for! 

This is a non-existent Limited-Edition Expression bottled many years ago.

Hence, a certain amount of the liquid may have given itself up as the "Angels Share," and the cork for such old expressions has the propensity to break which is very normal due to this phenomenon. Thus, the drinker must practice due diligence when opening this liquid gold bottle.

Take note that these expressions are sold in "as is" condition due to their age.
