Single Malt Bruichladdich Whiskey Laddie Classic Edition 1 (Bourbon Cask) Liquor Whisky

As always as of any Bruichladdich, it is un-chilled filter and colouring-free. Firstly, the crispness of malted barley, then soft fruits rise gently giving aromas of pears in syrup, papaya and honeydew melon, almost like jellybeans eventually. Mellow oaky sweetness from the bourbon barrels arrives a little later with notes of vanilla pods, flapjacks and of course, the slight drift of mellow bourbon. The journey starts here.

This is Bruichladdich’s first ever Laddie Classic (hence Edition 1) which must not be mistaken with the current “Classic Laddie” as both drams do not have the same tasting note experiences. Furthermore, this dram is non-existent whereas the Classic Laddie is standard production.

This is a non-existent Limited-Edition Expression bottled many years ago, in fact, 10 years ago this July 2022 as the bottle states.

Hence, a certain amount of the liquid may have given itself up as the "Angels Share," and the cork for such old expressions has the propensity to break which is very normal due to this phenomenon. Thus, the drinker must practice due diligence when opening this liquid gold bottle.

Take note that these expressions are sold in "as is" condition due to their age.
