According to most legitimate online information available, the Seiko 7S26 movement made its debut in 1996. This movement became the backbone of the Seiko 5 range.

This is the Seiko 5 7S26-01V0 21,600bhp 21J Automatic Rally Range of 4 watches with distinct dials, and they are Made in Japan Models.

These fab four is where many newer Seiko models copied their dials because of the two coloured dials making this rally range a success.

THIS IS A COLLECTORS ITEM because of their uniqueness and ever growing scarcity. Each watch was carefully stripped and meticulously cleaned via ultrasonic immersion, oiled and re-assembled. They should be able to operate without servicing for the next 5 to 10 years at the very least thereby providing the owner peace of mind.

They are all in excellent condition as proved by the pictures provided. The 3D-styled silver / white Indices are in pristine condition as well with minimal signs of age, and so too the hands.

Their typical cylindrical shaped silver cases and original bracelet with quick release catches were buffed as best as possible but miniscule hairline scratches and dings on case and bracelet are still present but almost unnoticeable unless one is looking for them. The Hardlex crystal are in fantastic condition as well.

The Dial and Hand lumens are working as they should.

The crown is located at the traditional 4H position and is neatly tucked away to prevent damage and snags. The date / day quickset works flawlessly by pulling the crown out for adjustment. The time is adjusted by pulling the crown out to the second level.

The Day is in Arabic and English, cool!

Equipped with the 7S26 modern movement, it has an impressive 21 Jewels that operate at 21,600 beats an hour giving it excellent accuracy. The time-grapher, after 60 hours of calibration, shows excellent readings i.e. rate of -13 seconds every 24 hours and amplitude of 221. Such readings are within the modern accepted tolerance of -20 to +40 seconds a day! This is a testament to the quality, excellent power reserve and longevity for such a vintage timepiece, the meticulous care provided over the years, and of course, the painstaking expert calibration.

To the best of our knowledge and expertise when overhauling the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Seiko components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket parts or modified thereby it is considered in near MINT condition.

The case width and height are approximately 39mm (without crown) and 42mm respectively. The lug width is 20mm and the bracelet can accommodate wrists up to 21cm; hence, the watch size is suitable for men and the modern women.

Even though all gaskets and seals are intact, these timepieces have not been water-resistant tested.

The pictures provided show the watch’s cases are in pristine condition (no dents and major scratches), and the movement within is squeaky clean and well maintained. They have been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear & tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. A nice purposeful carrying case or box will be provided.

Yes, there are many other same / similar models in the market, BUT none are as well-kept and maintained as what you see here, and with an attractive price to boot.
