According to most legitimate online information available, the Seiko 7S26 movement made its debut in 1996. This movement was the backbone of the Seiko 5 range and many other models such as this Diver's model.

This extremely sexy 2010 model was discontinued in 2018 to the dismay of many of her cult followers, HENCE, THIS IS A HIGHLY SORT AFTER COLLECTORS WATCH because of its cult following.

This masculine 7S26-0040 21 Jewel Automatic has an immaculately preserved midnight black Dial that does not reflect which is good for military operations after a good clean-up.

The 3D silver button lumen indices, date / day window and silver / luminous hands are magnificently preserved after a good clean-up as well. The dial and hand lumens are operable.

Since the age of the watch is less than 20 years and in great working condition, it is inadvisable to strip and overhaul it, so a general service and calibration was conducted instead on 15 April 2025 and should be able to operate unhindered until the next servicing.

The timeless cylindrical shaped silver case and back case were buffed as best as possible; however, there are some hairline scratches present. The mineral glass was replaced with a good quality aftermarket glass as the original glass was badly scratched. The original glass will be provided to the Buyer as part of the deal.

The crown is located at the traditional 3H position and is well protected against damage and snags via the crown guards located north and south of the crown, yet it is easily accessible. The date / day and time quickset works flawlessly by pulling the crown out to the first and second level for respective adjustment.

The Day is in English and Spanish, cool!

Equipped with the 7S26 movement, it has 21 Jewels that operate at 21,600 beats per hour (BPH) with a power reserve of 41 hours giving it excellent accuracy and longevity respectively. The time-grapher, shows excellent readings of +1 seconds every 24 hours and amplitude of 247 with a straight line! Such readings are truly exceptional even by brand new modern automatic watch standards whereby the accepted tolerance is -20 to +40 seconds a day! This is a testament to the quality, excellent power reserve and longevity for such a vintage timepiece, and of course the meticulous care provided over the years.

The case width and height are approximately 40mm (without crown) and 45mm respectively. The lug width is 22mm and the strap can accommodate wrists up to 20cm; hence, this watch is suitable for men and the modern women.

The timepiece comes with the original high quality Seiko SS Bracelet that was given a thorough clean-up via ultrasonic immersion and is now in excellent condition.

To the best of our knowledge and expertise when servicing the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Seiko components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket parts or modified thereby it is considered in excellent.

Even though all seals are present, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested due to its age.

The pictures provided show the watch’s case in pristine condition (no dents and major scratches), and the movement within squeaky clean and well maintained. It has also been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear + tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. A nice purposeful carrying case or box will be provided instead.

Seldom can one find a vintage watch that offers this and more. Yes, there are many other same / similar models in the market, BUT none are as well-kept and maintained as what you see here, and with an attractive price to boot. So, it is a no-brainer that this one-of-a-kind watch will make an extremely beautiful birthday present for that special someone born in May 2010! Another no-brainer is the fact that the value of this watch will appreciate over time.

Bear in mind that this watch has seen many of the previous owners’ ups and downs in life, and should be cherished and well taken care of for the next generation to savour such engineering beauty.

Do also bear in mind that it will cost between S$ 180.00 to S$ 200.00 for an overhaul, an estimated S$ 80.00 to calibrate (depending on watch condition), and S$ 100.00 to polish including tightening of bracelet links - these costs do not apply when purchasing this timepiece. So, if anyone was to sell such a timepiece at a low price yet claim that it has been serviced, one has to ask what kind of servicing was conducted, if any.

This is a truly magnificent May 2010 Seiko Divers in pristine condition with a beautifully preserved dial, immaculate indices, hands, movement and case; so, be unique and use something that is almost impossible to source.

This is a must-have for the Seiko die-hard fan, or any vintage watch fan for that matter!
