The Singapore Ship Series Currency was introduced in 1984 to supersede the Bird Series Currency.
MAS issued 12 different denominations including a Singapore S$ 1.00 note which was the last ever note before the S$ 1.00 coin superseded paper S$ 1.00 notes in 1999.
There are altogether:
a) Four (4) nos. of used S$ 2.00 Purple Notes that replaced the original Red S$2.00 notes due to its similarities with the S$ 10.00 note. They run in twin sequence and are of super condition.
b) One (1) nos. of used S$ 1.00 Blue Note in super condition and three (1) nos. of S$ 1.00 is used condition.
These used notes are currently housed in a simple yet elegant Display Unit that allows front and back visual aesthetics while keeping its precious cargo safe and secure.
This optional Display Stand size 200 x 180 x 20 is priced at S$ 29.90 whereas the 230 x 110 x 20 is priced at S$ 27.40 and the 300 x 110 x 20 is priced at S$ 31.75.
