Sandoz Watches traces its origins to 1870 when Henri Sandoz established the Sandoz Family Watch Company in Tavannes, Switzerland. Initially, the company focused on producing pocket watches that were highly regarded for their quality and precision.

Over the years, Sandoz Watches expanded its operations and began producing wristwatches in addition to pocket watches. The brand gained a reputation for its innovative designs and meticulous craftsmanship.

In 1971, Sandoz Watches was acquired by the Swiss watch company, Festina Group. Under Festina's ownership, Sandoz Watches continued to produce high-quality timepieces while benefiting from Festina's global distribution network.

Here we have an extremely rare Sandoz Lady Incabloc 369V-13 17J Mechanical Timepiece in near mint condition.

This super rare Sandoz has a beautiful two-tone champagne gold dial with Roman Numerals and Baton Hands in near mint condition after undergoing a thorough cleaning.

This beautifully shaped gold case had also undergone a good deep cleaning and a good rub afterwards while maintaining its super sexy curves albeit age marks and miniscule scratches still do exist. The original crystal was buffed and is now in excellent condition.

The signed crown is original and is located at the 3H position and is nicely tucked away yet easily accessible.

The movement was carefully stripped and meticulously cleaned via ultrasonic immersion, oiled, re-assembled and calibrated on 12 March 2024. In short, it underwent a proper overhaul and not a general servicing. It should be able to operate unhindered until the next servicing thereby providing the owner peace of mind.

Equipped with the excellent Incabloc 369V-13 movement, it has 17 Jewels that operate at a high 21,600 beats per hour (BPH) giving it excellent accuracy and longevity. The time-grapher, after 60 hours of calibration, shows excellent readings i.e. rate of -6 seconds every 24 hours and amplitude of 207 with a relatively straight line! Such readings are extremely good even by brand new modern automatic watch standards whereby the accepted tolerance is -20 to +40 seconds a day! This is a testament to the quality, excellent power reserve and longevity for such a vintage timepiece, the meticulous care provided over the years, and of course the painstaking calibration conducted.

The case width and height are approximately 24mm (without crown) and 31mm respectively. The lug width is 11mm and the Milan Mesh bracelet can accommodate wrists up to 18cm.

The bracelet is a hi-quality gold-plated super soft Milan Mesh bracelet with gold-plated clasp. It too had undergone a thorough cleaning, tightening of links and a buff. It is now in near mint condition.

To the best of our knowledge and expertise when overhauling the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Sandoz components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket parts or modified.

Even though the seals and gaskets are intact / replaced, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested due to its age.

The pictures provided shows the watch case in near mint condition and the movement within squeaky clean and well maintained. It has also been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear & tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. A nice purposeful carrying case or box will be provided instead.

Bear in mind that this watch has seen many of the previous owners’ ups and downs in life, and should be cherished and well taken care of for the next generation to savour such engineering beauty.

Yes, there are many other same models in the market, BUT almost all are not in the same quality condition and is well maintained as what you see here. Hence, it is a no-brainer that this one-of-a-kind watch will make an extremely beautiful birthday present for that special someone! Another no-brainer is the fact that the value of this watch will appreciate over time.

This particular 17J Sandoz Incabloc 369V-13 Champagne Dial with Roman Numerals is not easily found on auction or online sites.

Do also bear in mind that it will cost between S$ 180.00 to S$ 200.00 for an overhaul, an estimated S$ 80.00 to calibrate, and S$ 100.00 to clean, polish and tighten the bracelet links - these costs do not apply when purchasing this timepiece. So, if anyone was to sell such a timepiece at a low price yet claim that it has been serviced, one has to ask what kind of servicing was conducted, if any.

This is a beautifully designed and well maintained Sandoz Lady Incabloc 369V-13 in stunning condition; so, be unique and wear something that is almost impossible to source.

This is a must-have for the Sandoz die-hard fan, and in fact, any serious watch collector!
