Marie Claire has expanded into the fashion industry by introducing its very own accessory range.
Here we have a two-tone Marie Claire Lady Quartz Watch that was meant for the Japanese Fashion conscious market.
This particular watch uses a Japanese quartz movement; hence, quality and excellent time-keeping is assured.
This timepiece was carefully stripped and its dial and movement were meticulously cleaned, and its battery replaced on 29 February 2024. It should be able to operate unhindered until the next battery change thereby providing the owner peace of mind.
This circular shaped silver case with gold lugs was also given a good rub while maintaining its sharp lines and sexy curves. Most imperfections were removed without compromising the case shape and gold plated lugs. The crystal is original and was given a good rub as well and is in near mint condition.
The crown is located at its traditional 3H position and is easily accessible.
The case width and height are approximately 19mm (without crown) and 25mm respectively, and the lug width is 8mm.
The watch comes with a Marie Claire signed twin style SS bracelet that was cleaned and given a good rub, and is now near mint condition.
To the best of our knowledge and expertise when overhauling the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Marie Claire components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket parts or modified thereby it is considered in near MINT condition.
Even though the seals and gaskets are present, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested due to its age.
The pictures provided shows the watch case in near mint condition and well maintained. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. A nice purposeful carrying case or box will be provided instead.
This particular timepiece is rather scarce and not easily available on auction and on-line stores due to its Japanese market intentions. Prices in Japan for a Marie Claire Quartz timepiece ranges between S$ 104.00 to S$ 222.00. Note: the mentioned prices do not include currency conversions, commissions, taxes and freight costs etc.
This overhauled, buffed with battery change timepiece is being sold at S$93.00 which is extremely reasonable. So, NO LOW-BALLERS, please! Take note that low-ballers, trolls and wannabe advisors (whose "advise" is completely unwelcomed) will not be entertained, and should they persist, they will be reported and blocked!
This is a must-have for that young at heart fashion conscious person !
