Seiko Alba is not a separate watch company; rather, it is a sub-brand or line of watches produced by Seiko Corporation with the intention to create good quality watches at affordable prices. Thus, Seiko Alba watches are often associated with being more affordable and accessible than some of Seiko's higher-end lines. They are designed to cater to a broader market and are often characterized by their reliable movements, practical features, and stylish designs.

Seiko Alba watches do provide both quartz and mechanical movements, and they often offer a variety of styles, including dress watches, sport watches, and casual designs.

While Seiko Alba watches may not have the same prestige as some of Seiko's other lines, like Seiko Prospex or Grand Seiko, they still carry the quality and craftsmanship that Seiko is known for. They are a great option for individuals who want a reliable and well-made watch without the higher price tag associated with some luxury brands.

This is a discontinued and Collectible Seiko Alba produced in the 1980s.

It has a well preserved navy blue dial with digital display that is easy to read. It has 3 buttons that are in good working order after a good clean-up.

This timepiece was given an overhaul, and its movement was meticulously cleaned, and its battery replaced on 15 June 2024. It should be able to operate unhindered until the next battery change thereby providing the owner peace of mind.

Day to day use indicates a time difference of 1 second in a week which is considered supremely excellent for a vintage quartz timepiece.

The case was also given a good buff while maintaining its sharp lines and sexy curves. Most imperfections were removed without compromising the case shape.

The case width and height are approx. 34.7mm (w/o crown) and 38.8mm respectively, and the lug width is 18mm. The bracelet can accommodate wrists up to 17cm; hence, suitable for men and the modern women.

The watch comes with a Alba signed SS Bracelet that was cleaned via ultrasonic immersion and buffed.

To the best of our knowledge and expertise when overhauling the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Alba components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket or modified parts.

Even though the seals and gaskets are present, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested.

The pictures provided shows the watch in superb condition and well maintained. It has also been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear + tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. A brand new EVA Pouch is provided instead.

Bear in mind that this timepiece has seen many of the previous owners’ ups and downs in life, and should be cherished and well taken care of for the next generation to savour such engineering beauty. Hence, it is a no-brainer that this one-of-a-kind discontinued timepiece will make a beautiful birthday present for that special someone!

This timepiece is in excellent condition; so, be unique and own something that is almost impossible to source in such fine condition.
