BIRTHDAY WATCH IS A WATCH THAT WAS PRODUCED THE SAME MONTH AND YEAR AS SOMEONE'S BIRTHDAY.

The Lady Seiko Lady 153210 is a vintage mechanical watch specifically designed for ladies timepieces due to the size of the watch of that time. Small lady watches showcases elegance without bragging. Big watches during the 50s to 60s were considered boorish behaviour.

This beautifully designed watch was given a general service and general calibration on 20 September 2023. Its timekeeping is excellent i.e. ± 1 minute every 24 hours, and should be able to operate without servicing for the next 5 years at the very least thereby providing the owner peace of mind.

It has a beautiful preserved ivory-white and gold filled dial, solid-gold Indices, 14K solid gold stick hands and gold-filled case that are well preserved.

Its rectangular gold-filled case was buffed as best as possible without compromising its shape, lines and gold-fillings albeit a few minor scratches that are barely noticeable to the naked eye. The crystal is original and is constructed from mineral glass.

The crown is located at the traditional 3H position and is easily accessible.

The case width and height are approximately 13.5mm (without crown) and 33mm respectively; the lug width is 10mm; and the gold-plated linked bracelet can accommodate wrists up to 14.0cm with ease.

Due to its age, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested.

The pictures provided show the watch is in very good condition. It has also been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear & tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. An aftermarket box or purposeful carrying case will be provided instead.

Bear in mind that this watch has seen many of the previous owners’ ups and downs in life, and should be cherished and preserved for the next generation to savour such engineering beauty.

Yes, there are many other same / similar models in the market, BUT none as beautifully aged and as well maintained as what you see here. Another no-brainer is the fact that the value of this watch will appreciate over time. This watch would most certainly make a beautiful present for that someone special born in October 1964.

This particular gold-filled Lady Seiko timepiece is being sold here for S$ 118.00 which is extremely reasonable.

Do also bear in mind that it will cost between S$ 80.00 to S$ 100.00 for a basic servicing and S$ 40.00 for a basic calibration; and S$ 40.00 to buff the watch case and bracelet - these costs do not apply when purchasing this timepiece. So, if anyone was to sell such a timepiece at a low price yet claim that it has been serviced, one has to ask what kind of servicing was conducted, if any.

This is a beautiful timepiece that would make a beautiful present for that someone special.

This is a must-have for the Seiko die-hard fan, and in fact, any serious watch collector for that matter!
