"As one of Switzerland’s oldest registered watch companies, established in 1922, ours is a story that is still unfolding. It’s a rich history spun from tales that stretch from the period of 1920’s art deco to modern day.

"Our collection of truly mechanical watches is infused with the spirit of centuries of adventurers, who placed their hearts and minds in the trustworthy design and craftsmanship of the HAFIS + Co. name. Nothing but the best would do then and nothing but the best will do now. These are the watches that we still love to wear, feel proud to wear and make us smile. Nearly 100 years later, we are still up-holding those traditions. Today, HAFIS + Co. bridges the timelessness of our visionary forefathers to the fast-laced activities of the 21st Century life. Durable enough to accompany you on any rural adventures, like the ones we at HAFIS + Co. enjoy, and crafted with enough finesse to look the part in any urban setting" - Hafis + Co.

Here we have an overhauled circa 1930s - 1940s Hafis Model Rox 9111 Mechanical Watch in excellent condition.

A good and thorough clean-up has revealed a well preserved patina Dial, Arabic Hour Indices, Black Breguet Hands and mini-second hand dial.

Its silver case was buffed as best as possible without compromising its shape and lines albeit a few minor scratches that are barely noticeable. The crystal has been replaced.

The crown is located at the traditional 3H position and is easily accessible.

The movement was carefully stripped and meticulously cleaned via ultrasonic immersion, oiled, re-assembled, and calibrated on 21 April 2024. In short, it was given an overhaul and should be able to operate unhindered until the next servicing thereby giving the owner peace of mind.

Equipped with a 15 Jewel Mechanical movement that operates at 18,000 BPH. The time-grapher shows excellent readings of -2 seconds every 24 hours and amplitude of 197 on average with a straight line! Such readings are exceptional even by brand new modern automatic watch standards whereby the accepted tolerance is -20 to +40 seconds a day! This is a testament to the quality, excellent power reserve, the meticulous care provided over the years, and expert calibration.

The case width and height are approx. 26mm (w/o crown) and 32mm respectively. The lug width is 14mm and the strap can accommodate wrists up to 20cm; hence, suitable for mean and women.

The timepiece comes with a brand new good-quality reptile designed genuine leather strap with silver buckle.

To the best of our knowledge and expertise when overhauling the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Hafis components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket or modified parts.

Due to its age, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested.

The pictures provided shows the watch in excellent condition. It has also been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear + tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. A brand new EVA pouch is provided instead.

This extremely rare watch will make a beautiful birthday present for that special someone, and its value will appreciate over time.

Bear in mind that this watch has seen many of the previous owners’ ups and downs in life, and should be cherished and preserved for the next generation to savour such engineering beauty.

Do also bear in mind that it will cost between S$ 180.00 to S$ 200.00 for an overhaul, an estimated S$ 100.00 to calibrate, and S$ 120.00 to clean, polish and tighten the bracelet links (if applicable) of this watch - these costs do not apply when purchasing this timepiece. So, if anyone was to sell such a timepiece at a low price yet claim that it has been serviced, one has to ask what kind of servicing was conducted, if any.

This is an ultra rare circa 19340s - 1940s Hafis + Co Rox Sub-Seconds in stunning condition; so, be unique and own a watch that is almost impossible to source in such condition.
