According to reliable online sources, Seiko introduced the H558-5000 in 1982. It was the first Seiko Ana-Digi Diver's with a 150M Depth Resistance and was aptly nicknamed the "Arnie" because The Terminator used it for most of his movies during the 1980s.

The H558 was revolutionary because it combined:

and a multifunction digital module

into one robust package.

This beautifully shaped stainless-steel case was given a good clean-up and rub while maintaining its sharp lines and sexy curve. Most imperfections were removed without compromising the case shape. The lumens are operable! Cool!

The crystal is original and was given a good rub as well albeit scratches do remain.

The quartz movement was given a standard clean-up, and the battery remains operable for up to 5 years. The crown has been uncorked to prevent battery drainage. It should be able to operate unhindered until the next battery replacement thereby providing the owner peace of mind.

The case width and height are approximately 45.5mm (without crown) and 46.4mm respectively. The lug width is 22mm, and the strap can accommodate wrists up to 21cm; hence, this watch is suitable for men and the modern women.

The strap is a Brand-New Seiko Signed Waffle Diver Strap with Silver Buckle.

To the best of our knowledge, the watch is 100% original Seiko components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket parts.

Even though the seals and gaskets are present, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested due to its age.

The pictures provided show the watch in stunning condition and well maintained. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. A nice purposeful carrying case or box will be provided instead.
