Founded in 1919, United Feature Syndicate (UFS) is a historic American print syndication company, best known for distributing popular comic strips and columns to newspapers.

UFS began licensing Peanuts watches in the mid-1950s, shortly after Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz gained major popularity. Afterwards, UFS licensed the Peanuts characters to various watchmakers, notably Bradley Time Division (of Elgin National Watch Co.), followed by Timex, Zizzor, and Swatch.

UFS began licensing the production of Peanuts quartz watches in the late 1970s to early 1980s, as quartz technology became widespread and affordable in the watch industry. Some of the earliest Peanuts-branded quartz watches appeared around 1978–1980, replacing older mechanical versions. These were often produced by Bradley Time and later companies like Armitron, Zeon, and Timex, under license from UFS.

Here we have an UFS Snoopy Ladies / Boy Size Quartz watch with Roman numerals, Skeleton hands, and silver case with original SS bracelet in stunning condition. This timepiece is extremely rare due to its cessation of production mid '80s.

The watch was given a good clean-up on 1 June 2025. A new battery was installed during the basic servicing to ensure the owner's peace of mind.

This well preserved silver case was also given a good rub while maintaining its sharp lines and sexy curves. Most age marks were removed without compromising the case shape. The crystal is original and was given a good rub as well and is also in excellent condition.

The crown is located at its traditional 3H position and is easily accessible.

The case width and height are approximately 25.3mm (w/o crown) and 30.6mm respectively. The lug width is 14mm and the strap can accommodate wrists up to 15cm.

To the best of our knowledge and expertise when overhauling the timepiece, the watch is 100% original components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket parts or modified thereby it is considered in near MINT condition.

This timepiece has not been water-resistant tested due to its age.

The pictures provided shows the watch case in excellent condition and well maintained. It has also been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear & tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation. The original box accompanies the timepiece - cool!

Bear in mind that this watch has seen many of the previous owners’ ups and downs in life, and should be cherished and well taken care of for the next generation to savour such engineering beauty.
