Gianni Versace S.p.A is a world famous Italian Fashion House that was founded in 1978 by the late Gianni Versace. The Medusa head logo, inspired by Greek mythology, became a symbol of the brand, representing beauty, art, and philosophy.

Here we have the highly acclaimed Versace Hippodrome PSQ99 Quartz Rectangular Curved Tank Case with Medusa printed on a Mother of Pearl Dial.

Its dial, 3D Baton Markers and Hands were given a good clean-up and they are now in near mint condition.

This timepiece was given a good servicing, and its dial was meticulously cleaned, its electronic movement cleaned and touched up, demagnetised, and its battery replaced on 10 May 2024. It should be able to operate unhindered until the next battery change thereby providing the owner peace of mind.

This well preserved silver case was also given a good rub while maintaining its sharp lines and sexy curves. Most imperfections were removed without compromising the case shape. The crystal is original and was given a good rub as well and is also in excellent condition albeit a couple of hairline scratches that comes with age are present.

The crown is located at its traditional 3H position and is easily accessible.

The case width and height are approximately 41mm (w/o crown) and 35mm respectively. The lug width is 26mm and the strap can accommodate wrists up to 20cm; hence this watch is suitable for both men and the modern women.

The strap is original and made from hi-quality genuine snake skin.

As far as we know, the watch is 100% original Versace components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket parts.

Even though the seals are present, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested due to its age.

The pictures provided shows the watch in stunning condition and well maintained. It has also been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear & tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. A nice purposeful carrying case or box will be provided instead.

Bear in mind that this watch has seen many of the previous owners’ ups and downs in life, and should be cherished and well taken care of for the next generation to savour such engineering beauty.
