Here we have an all-time favorite amongst watch enthusiasts - the sporty yet elegant Two-Tone 18K Malibu, Model MV045045 circa 1990s.

Its timeless silver shaped case with 18K gold bezel, dial, Roman Numeral indices, 18K syringe hands and date window are in stunning condition after a good deep clean-up. The silver case and bracelet was given a deep cleaning that removed most of the obvious scratches and age marks, and is now in excellent condition.

The movement was serviced on 30 July 2024 that included a new battery, and should be able to operate unhindered until the next servicing thereby providing the owner peace of mind.

The crown is original and is located at the 3H position and is neatly tucked in between crown guards to prevent damage and snags; yet, easily accessible. The date and hands quickset operate in the traditional manner by pulling out and rotating the crown accordingly.

The watch also comes with its original B&M Signed 18K Two-Toned SS Bracelet that has also been cleaned and links tightened.

The case width and height are approximately 36mm (w/o crown) and 39.5mm respectively. The lug width is 18mm and the bracelet can accommodate wrists up to 17.5cm; hence, this watch is suitable for men and the modern women.

To the best of our knowledge while servicing this timepiece, everything including the bracelet are original. No parts were replaced with aftermarket or modified parts.

Even though all seals and gaskets are in place, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested due to its age.

The pictures provided shows the watch in near-mint condition, and the movement within is squeaky clean and well maintained. It has also been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear & tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. A nice purposeful carrying case or box will be provided instead.

Bear in mind that this watch has seen many of the previous owners’ ups and downs in life, and should be cherished and well taken care of for the next generation to savour such engineering beauty.
