This Omega Geneve Dynamic series is an extremely rare timepiece produced by Swiss luxury watchmaker Omega. This oval shaped case with a dial that mimics an eye with pupil is simply stunning.
The Dynamic series was launched in 1967 as a design forward concept that targeted the younger buyers. Its cutting edge design allowed the automatic Omega watches to still fly off the shelves in a blink of an eye (excuse the pun)! This was followed by the introduction of the Dynamic Quartz range circa 1980s with modular straps, eye catching dials and bold colours.
Here we have an Omega Seamaster Dynamic Cal 1426 "Spider" Tuxedo in stunning condition.
A good and thorough clean-up revealed a beautifully preserved two-tone dial with white markers, red sword hands and a date window at the 6H position.
Its classy and stylish eye-shaped gunmetal grey case was buffed as best as possible without compromising its shape, lines and brushed finish. The original crystal was given a good buff and is in near mint condition now.
The signed crown is located at the traditional 3H position and is easily accessible.
The movement was given a good cleaning with battery change on 2 August 2025 and should be able to operate unhindered until the next battery change thereby providing the owner peace of mind.
It is equipped with the robust 1426 quartz movement which is one of the most accurate Omega quartz movements at the time of production.
The case width and height are approx. 26.3mm (w/o crown) and 30.6mm respectively. The silicon strap can accommodate wrists up to 20cm.
The timepiece comes with a hi-quality Bambi Silicon Strap with Silver Buckle as part of the deal.
To the best of our knowledge and expertise when servicing the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Omega components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket or modified parts.
Due to its age, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested even though the seals are present.
The pictures provided shows the watch in near mint condition. It has also been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear + tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box. An aftermarket box or purposeful carrying case will be provided instead.
This very rare watch will make a beautiful birthday present for that special someone, and its value will appreciate over time.
Bear in mind that this watch has seen many of the previous owners’ ups and downs in life, and should be cherished and preserved for the next generation to savour such engineering beauty.
This is a highly sort-after Omega Seamaster Dynamic "Spider" Tuxedo Cal 1426 in pristine condition; so, be unique and wear a watch that is almost impossible to source in such fine condition, or get it for your loved one.
