Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you, a truly one-of-a-kind, highly sort-after Vintage July 1979 KING Seiko "Hi-Beat" 25 Jewel Gold-Medallion Automatic Dress Watch.
For Seiko Collectors and Vintage fans, THIS IS A HIGHLY SORT AFTER COLLECTORS WATCH
The silver ivory white dial is in immaculate condition, so too the silver indices and hands after a good deep cleaning.
The stainless steel watch case was buffed and is now in superb condition albeit a few hairline scratches and is extremely pleasing to the eye. The crown is located at its traditional 3H position and is original with the KS mark found on it.
This gorgeous watch operates in the traditional method of adjusting the hands that functions flawlessly.
The movement has been carefully stripped, cleaned, oil and re-assembled. It should be able to operate without servicing for the next 5 to 10 years thus providing the owner peace of mind.
Equipped with the famous 5621 movement, it has 25 jewels and operates at 28,800 beats an hour giving it an extremely high level of accuracy.
The case width and height are 38mm (with crown) and 43mm respectively. The lug width is 19mm and the strap can accommodate wrists up to 21cm; thus this watch is suitable for men and the modern women.
A brand new two-tone hi-quality hand stitched genuine leather strap accompanies this timepiece, and it easily brings out the best features of this vintage silver white faced timepiece with ease.
To the best of our knowledge and expertise when overhauling the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Seiko components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket parts or modified thereby it is considered in near MINT condition.
Due to its age, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested.
The pictures provided show the watch’s case in immaculate condition (no dents and major scratches), and the movement within squeaky clean and well maintained. It has also been demagnetised to improve parts reliability, minimise wear & tear, and improve accuracy. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box, so a simple aftermarket box / pouch will be provided.
Seldom can one find a vintage watch that offers this and more. Yes, there are many other same / similar models in the market, BUT none are as well kept and maintained as what you see here, and with an attractive price to boot. Hence, it is a no-brainer that this one-of-a-kind watch will make an extremely beautiful July 1979 birthday present for that someone special. Another no-brainer is the fact that the value of this watch will appreciate over time.
Bear in mind that this watch has seen many of the previous owners’ ups and downs in life, and should be cherished and well taken care of for the next generation to savour such engineering beauty.
This is a highly sort-after King Seiko July 1979 5621-7000 with a flawless silver-ivory-white dial, hands, window, case and a brand new high quality genuine leather strap, so, be unique and use something that is almost impossible to source.
This is a must-have for the Seiko die-hard fan, or any vintage watch fan for that matter!
