This watch was produced prior to the formation of the DAINI and SUWA separate factories.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis gorgeous Seikosha, Model 10 is a 15 Jewel Mechanical timepiece that is breathtaking in so many ways that brought Seiko into the limelight as a serious watchmaking company that can now contend with the Swiss, English, German and American \"big boys.\"\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor Seiko Collectors and Vintage fans, this is a Seikosha Cal 10 in an 11008 case in good condition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis very rare vintage Seikosha has a pearl white main dial and a silver sub-second dial located at the 6H position. The dial and 14K gold Arabic indices and Leaf hands underwent a good cleaning; however, the indices and dial were mostly left untouched to allow it vintage-ness due to a slow build-up of patina that is noticeable which gives the watch extra charm. The crystal was polished and buffed and is now in near mint condition albeit miniscule scratches do remain. The case has dramatically tarnished but left untouched to showcase its vintage authenticity. Its curves are very pronounced; hence, the watch case never underwent any polishing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe classical designed case was also cleaned via ultrasonic immersion and buffed to remove age marks, and miniscule hairline scratches caused by aging.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe crown is located at the traditional 3H positions and nicely tucked away to prevent damage or snags. The crown is original and was reduced in size compared to the 1920s Seiko mechanical movements.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe movement was carefully stripped, meticulously cleaned, oiled, and re-assembled in August 2026. Hence, it underwent an overhaul and not a general servicing. It should be able to operate unhindered until the next servicing thereby providing the owner peace of mind.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEquipped with a Seikosha 10 movement constructed from stainless steel, it has 15 Jewels and operate at 18,000 BPH. The timing shows approximately 11 seconds deviation daily which is well within the 30 second requirements for by brand new modern automatic watch standards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo the best of our knowledge and expertise when overhauling the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Seiko components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket parts or modified.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe case width and height are approximately 28.2m (w\/o crown) and 33.9mm respectively.
