However, like many small Swiss watchmakers, Fero Feldmann ceased operations during the quartz crisis of the 1970s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHere we have a highly sort-after circa 1960s Fero Feldman 17J Mechanical Timepiece in stunning condition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA good and thorough clean-up revealed a beautifully preserved Navy Blue Dial, Baton Indices with Baton Hands.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIts classic shaped case was buffed as best as possible without compromising its shape and lines albeit miniscule scratches that are barely noticeable. The original faceted crystal was buffed and is in good condition albeit miniscule scratches are still present.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe unsigned crown is located at the traditional 3H position and is easily accessible. The quick time-set is adjusted via the traditional method of uncorking the crown and turning the crown accordingly. There is no date quick set.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe mechanical movement was given a general clean-up on 17 July 2026; hence, it should be able to operate unhindered until the next servicing thereby providing the owner a peace of mind.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEquipped with the high grade and highly prized Swiss Mechanical movement, it has 17 Jewels and operate at 18,000 BPH. The timing shows approximately 20 seconds deviation daily which is well within the 30 second requirements for by brand new modern automatic watch standards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe case width and height are approximately 36.3mm (w\/o crown) and 39.2mm respectively.
